Au revoir summer

If something must be inferred from the infrequency of my blogs this summer it is this:  summer whooped me hard enough to shut me up!  Since this was my first main season, it was inevitable that I’d get a healthy serving of humble pie…and I did.  I put my truck full of flowers into a ditch, did things about as inefficiently as humanly possible and got bit and stung by enough bugs to secure a space for an epi pen in my truck.  I made many mistakes and from those, I learned a great deal.  I can think of no better place to enjoy a slice of humble pie than under a cloudless sky in a field of flowers (and a swarm of bees)!
